Dr. Bulger is BACK HOME! She was born and raised in Kanawha City (Charleston, WV), but has spent the last 12 years outside of Buffalo, NY. While in Buffalo, she started a family, became a chiropractor and started a practice. Bulger Chiropractic was the go to for Sports Chiropractic, but Dr. Bulger wanted to bring her knowledge back to West Virginia.
Dr. Bulger graduated from D’Youville College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010. In addition to her required course load at D’Youville College, Dr. Bulger continued her development by taking classes in Flexion Distraction, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique (ART), Tunnel Syndromes, Pharmacology, Ethics & Law, and Patient Communication. To further her development, Dr. Bulger also completed course work in Elite Sports Science. While at D’Youville College she was the President of the Student American Chiropractic Association, awarded the Student Affairs Unsung Hero Award, and Chiropractic Leader Award.
Dr. Bulger is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and West Virginia Chiropractic Society. She has had the opportunity to volunteer her care in and around the community, by providing chiropractic care, nutritional and activities of daily living counseling to improve quality of life. As a Chiropractor in the greater Buffalo area, she had the opportunity and privilege to treat elite professional athletes utilizing chiropractic care at numerous sporting events.
Dr. Bulger has a love and appreciation for all sports, especially volleyball and softball. While in pursuit of her undergraduate degree, she played on the volleyball team as a libero and setter for the University of Charleston.
Dr. Bulger is licensed by the West Virginia Board of Chiropractic to practice chiropractic care. She has also taken courses and is a Certified Kinesio Taping and Graston Technique Practitioner.
Dr. Bulger is committed to the highest quality of patient care and takes immense pride in her work. Dr. Bulger says that she gets a great deal of satisfaction when she is able to be a part of a patient’s recovery. She is proficient in various soft tissue techniques, skilled in active/passive rehab modalities, compassionate, and personable. When asked what’s most important to her, she says, "To provide comprehensive world-class treatment and rehabilitation to every single patient that walks through my door…aside from my family of course!"When away from the office, you can find Dr. Bulger spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Kyleigh and Camden. Her children are involved in many sports leagues, clubs, and activities that keep Dr. Bulger and Chris busy, however, she wouldn't have it any other way.
